Lubricants

Lubricants are big business. This blog discusses many of the typical problems experienced by fellow trybologists, or just maintenance professionals in need.  If you click here, you will be able to find a wide variety of  lubricants that would be our suggested starting point for any one needing oils or greases.

Many of these lubricants are designed to operate in systems at low and high pressures which require effective protection against wear and erosion. They have excellent anti-friction properties and resistance to very high loads. They have very high tear and have excellent behavior in usual temperature changes. Synthetic lubricants that are used for air compressor for example are suitable for heavy operating conditions and they have a long life. They are also suitable for rotary screw, reciprocating compressors and flapper and they are able to satisfy the demanding requirements  this type of machinery puts them under.

Finding a good selection of lubricants is perhaps one of the most important aspects of any mainetnance managers job. It is not a simple process. This blog will attempt to assist wherever possible.
